Welcome to Gastrointestinal Radiology!
Gastrointestinal disorders are some of the most common presenting complaints for dogs and cats. They also present some of the greatest diagnostic challenges. When is it time to cut, when is it time to wait? Radiology is vital to the diagnosis of GI disorders but can be one of the most challenging tests to interpret.
In this section you will learn the principles of interpretation for gastrointestinal radiology. We will review everything from esophageal disorders such as megaesophagus, common gastric disorders such as GDV and gastric foreign material, small intestinal disorders such as obstruction or linear foreign bodies, to colonic disorders such as megacolon.
This section will provide a strong foundation for interpretation and is designed for any veterinarian who wants to review and grow their radiology practice.
